Another Land

A small, independent specialty coffee shop up a flight of stairs on Yonge Street. Single-origin beans, slow filter coffee and proper espresso — uptown Toronto's quiet place to sit a while.

A second-floor hideaway.

Another Land is one of the few specialty coffee shops in uptown Toronto — a calm room above the street where students, neighbours and anyone craving a careful cup can slow down for an hour.

“Good coffee, made slowly, in a room that lets you breathe.”

We roast our focus on the cup itself: single-origin beans, water dialled in, and baristas who actually taste what they brew. Climb the stairs, find a seat by the window, and stay as long as you like.

How we brew.

  1. 1

    Choose the origin

Pick from the single-origins on the board — washed, natural, ever-rotating. Ask us what's tasting brightest today.

  2. 2

    Filter or espresso

A clean hand-poured filter to sip slow, or a pulled shot built into a flat white, latte or cortado.

  3. 3

    Take a seat

Find the window, open a book, and let the cup come to you. No rush — that's rather the point up here.
